I have a used T56 that will at least need new synchronizors. However the person that wants the tranny is wanting/able to rebuild the whole thing to go into an LS powered classic muscle car. What would be a fair selling price?

Take a look at the core prices the sponsors add to their builds for someone who needs a trans. but has no core. That's the higher end of core prices.

Yeah E-bay is showing around 700-750 for cores and parts t56s. Thinking a friend price of about $400.
