Default Shims on stock flywheel and Spec 2.5?

i have search and could not find a thread that answers this. so forgive me if there is 1. I have a 06 GTO. new 2.5 Spec clutch. New slave. New stock flywheel. I know you need to shim with a resurfaced flywheel. My question is. Will I need to shim a stock flywheel with a new 2.5 Spec clutch?

You might need to shim the slave but not the flyheel. You should measure everything first. There is a thread that is very detailed in how you measure for proper air gap between the TOB and the PP.

You shouldn't need to shim the flywheel, but you may need to shim the slave. Our kits include the measurement sheet instruction the proper way to check this. If you didn't receive this or if you need another copy send me your email and I will be happy to send it your way. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!
