High power LT1 clutch options
I'm slowly gathering parts for my 385 LT1 F1A procharger build. I currently have a Spec stage 4 clutch that I've been very happy with behind my heads/cam setup.
My tentative goal for the procharger setup is 800 RWHP/TQ. Does the spec 4 stand a chance behind this thing? Spec's website shows it rated at 762 Ft/lbs tq. Its going to see the track infront of a 9" with 10.5 slicks.
I plan on trying it atleast, assuming if it fails it would just start slipping, not explode. If it will not hold, is a street twin my only other option?
