Default High power LT1 clutch options

I'm slowly gathering parts for my 385 LT1 F1A procharger build. I currently have a Spec stage 4 clutch that I've been very happy with behind my heads/cam setup.

My tentative goal for the procharger setup is 800 RWHP/TQ. Does the spec 4 stand a chance behind this thing? Spec's website shows it rated at 762 Ft/lbs tq. Its going to see the track infront of a 9" with 10.5 slicks.

I plan on trying it atleast, assuming if it fails it would just start slipping, not explode. If it will not hold, is a street twin my only other option?

Finishing up my 383 LT1 F1A build and i went with a street twin and i plan on having 700RWHP. I have just heard that the street twin is the best when it comes to the LT1 clutches. I could be wrong and Spec could have one that will hold more than the street twin. I did not fully research Spec's complete line of clutches for LT1's. Since you already have the Spec stage 4, I would atleast start with that clutch and see how it lasts for you. The street twin is not a cheap clutch to go out and buy.

No they do not.

Also look at Competition clutch for what might fit your needs.
