Throw out bearing differences

Throw out bearing differences N00b question here
The 1st image is the throw out that came with the spec
the 2nd is the one that came from Monster when I ordered a throw out/slave assembly and look like the stock one I pulled.
My question is what is the difference here and which should I be running. It looks like the one from SPEC is uncovered and the one from MONSTER has a cover over the bearing. That cover is removable but I left it on there when I did the install.
