Default stock 2000 ram air

i have a stock ram air and the clutch pedal is going to the floor and not returning no clutch at all any suggestions?? could it be the master cylinder or slave cylinder?? t56 stock tranny with 40,000 miles

Try bleeding the clutch first. The stock hydraulic system is very finicky and doesnt like dirty fluid.

Like SuperSport01 said, bleed it out really well. Clean all the old fluid out. If this doesn't help then the slave cylinder is probably bad. Pick up a GM replacement for an 02 F-body. Most of the aftermarket replacements are very poor quality. Good luck.

Have you lost any fluid? Is there fluid dripping out of the bell housing or leaking into the floorboard or fluid under the brake booster? If neither are leaking than it is hard to tell whether the master cylinder or slave cylinder have failed internally. Replacing the master first would be easier as you have to drop the transmission to change the slave.
