Clutch pedal has way to much play..

My buddy just did his clutch swap on a 99z28 camaro and bow he is saying that he has play in his pedal.. it goes down to easy..

Does the pedal return to the top when it is released? Has he bled the system to insure that there is no air in the hydraulics?

Sounds like it has not been bled properly. Bleed it thoroughly and see if the spongy pedal goes away.
