can you store a T56 in storage?
can you store a rebuilt t56 in a storage shed? If so how can I store it for a long period of time?

I dont see why not. Id probobly fill it completely with tranny fluid to keep parts bathed in oil so they dont rust. But obviously its doable cause manufactures must have them sitting on shelves for periods of time.

Yes sir you most likely can! Mine still had fluid when I first stored mine Now its empty because I am going to ship it to another person Just check in with the storage office and ask if they have any restrictions with that.
Here is a pic of my T-56 when it still had fluid in it... Now its empty, wrapped and ready to ship. lol

The most important thing it that all of the parts always have some kind of oil on them. There are some places that can handle a little surface rust but many cannot. I don't think you can fill it all the way without it leaking out but if you slosh the fluid around every other month or so it should keep the parts covered.
