for a basic "replacement" stock type clutch, they are fine. many auto part store brands are made bu LUK

with that said don't expect it to hold up to modified motors or frequent track use.

Actually most autozone or advance auto brands are made by their own sub contracted companies and really suck ***. LUK makes all the gm OEM clutches. If you look at an ls7 or ls6 disk it will have luk stamped on it.

I wouldnt go beating it with H/C but for a normal car it would be fine. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a quality aftermarket clutch like Monster or Diamond

I've been on a luk clutch for about a year no problems. Then again it's just a bolt on car, and I don't launch at high rpms at all. Go to the track about once a month.

Just a FYI...Luk also makes a lot of parts that other manufacturers buy and upgrade into their own brand. An example is Centerforce that uses Luk stamped clutch housings. They supposedly use their own springs and pressure plates. If you look, it will have the Luk stamp on it.

Luk makes a gold series kit with more clamping force on the pressure plate. I always buy their 12" kit for a small block chevy that comes with a 10 spline organic disk and swap it for one that I have a local brake and clutch shop make up for me. They use velvet touch pucks on one side and iron against the pressure plate side. The total thickness comes out to .350 if I remember right. Never had any issues behind my 403 LS2 with slipping but I dont do 6K dumps at the track on slicks either.
