can i change 4th gear in T56 Is it possible to change out one gear ratio OR two gear ratios in our trans?
I'd like to change 4th from 1.00 to 1.1

Not 4th gear. The T56 4th gear isn't actully a gear rather its just locking the input shaft and the mainshaft (output) together giving you the 1:1 ratio. There is no power going through any of the gears in 4th so you wouldn't be able to change the ratio of 4th.

Dam. So could I change...1st, 2nd & 3rd then? Reason I ask, I hate being at 4550ish rpm in4th when I shift out of 3rd. Id rather be at 5000-5250 when I switch into 4th. I guess if im looking to change 1,2&3 I should look into a new trans. How do you think a TR6060 would work?
