So i messed up my old t56 so i went out and got a t56 mag from rpm transmission. installed it and everything seem alright, started the car up and moved it forward and when i did it started moving fine and then i heard a clank... so i moved it back and heard the same clank.

lifted up the rear end to see if anything was wrong and didnt see anything, so i put it in gear w/ wheels off ground and made same sound... i used royal purple synthetic as specified by rpm and used four quarts

if anyone has a suggestion please let me know

Did you check your U joints?

actually had to replace the ujoint because i replaced the yoke to a 31 spline and had a machine shop do it... but that could be it maybe, will def check it tomorrow
