Default Replacing Flywheel ring gear on Textrailia twin-disc billet flywheel

I'm researching replacing the ring gear on the Textralia flywheel I have. The ring gear is missing a tooth and it appears it is pressed on. See pic.

My question is: Does anyone know if the ring gear is the same as the stock LS1 flywheel ring gear? If it is, do we know the part number?

TIA

Cut the ring gear with a hacksaw as far as you can without touching the flywheel. Then use a cold chisel in that groove, giving a couple good whacks with a big hammer until the gear splits.

To install a new gear, you'll need a good sized oxy/acetylene torch, a pair of vise grips or channel locks, hammer and punch. Clamp the gear with the vise grips (not too tightly, you want an easy release) ahead of time. Heat the gear all around with the torch, but not hot enough to make it change color. You're only looking to heat the gear to a couple hundred degrees. When heated, put the gear on the flywheel and tap down with the hammer/punch. You'll need to work quickly so the gear doesn't cool and shrink before it's seated.

Don't try to heat the gear to remove it....there's too much metal there with it mounted on the flywheel, you'll be at it all day long and probably still won't have it hot enough to come off.

For more consistent heating of the new ring gear, put it in the oven at 300 degrees.

Thanks for the tips.

Is the ring gear on the textrailia flywheel the same as the stock ring gear for the ls1/fbody? I know outer diameter and tooth count are the same but I need to make sure inner diameter is the same. If someone could get me measurements of stock ring gear I can make sure.

Thanks

I think I've found my own answer via gmpartsdirect and google...

gm parts direct reports the part # as 3991408.

Found these specs here:

OE Part No: 3991408

GM

Thickness: 0.453"
Inner Dia.: 13.276"
Outer Dia.: 14.141"
Tooth Count: 168
DP/Module: 12/14
Chamfer: None

Time to go measure to be sure.
