Quick question a4 to m6 swap I'm in the middle of a swap and have almost everything done... I was putting the steering column back in and just wanted to make sure I have it right before I button everything up.
The automatic park lock cable has to be removed ... does this include the whole switch with connections? Or is there a way to remove just the cable?

Yes, you will need that ignition switch. I made the same mistake and pulled my whole cable/switch out when I traded the guy for the T56 setup and realized after I got it all back together I was missing my ignition switch! Quick trip to Autozone fixed that, but it was definitely a
