Default T56 Magnum, 12" clutch, and Quicktime bellhousing?

Hey guys,

I'm considering getting a scatter shield for my build as an insurance policy for my feet in the off chance my clutch decides to frag itself. I have a T56 magnum transmission and a Stage 2 Monster clutch kit (12"). Every description I've seen for the Quicktime bellhousing recommends an 11" maximum clutch diameter, but I've seen plenty of guys running 12" clutches with it. What's the story on this - is the maximum size really 11" as Quicktime suggests or is that just a really conservative recommendation?

Every Monster clutch sold will clear the Quicktime bell housing no matter the diameter. We have tons of 11'' and 12''s running in Quicktimes.

Don't mean to hijack but, has anyone stuffed a Monster 10.5" dual disc clutch into a Quicktime bell? Thanks.

I had to assume a dual would fit but I have a Ford T56 that will have a clutch fork and cable and then it might get tight.

Quick Reply: T56 Magnum, 12" clutch, and Quicktime bellhousing?
