Default T5 to LC9, VSS?

If you guys saw my other thread, I am working on a project where an LC9 5.3L and T5 transmission are being used (with an Electric motor in between). The E-Rod LC9 requires a 17 pulse per revolution input. Is there any way to get this out of a T5 easily? My understanding is that the T5 either is mechanical, or has a 4,000 pulse per mile output. Using that output, we could scale it through our vehicle controller, but it wouldn't be as easy as simply adapting to the 17 pulse/rev directly.

Thanks!

ECUs can be reprogrammed for different pulse rates. So if you have the stock 2 wire VSS (sine wave), just reprogram,
If it's a mechanical output, Dakota Digital sells a VSS that mounts to the speedo cable output.

Depends on the tailhousing and VSS it has. Later F-body had a 17t setup; obviously you have a T5 you didn't identify with something else
