Default T56 identification : help required please

Hi, I got purchased a used T56 for Fbody that needs rebuild. As I am in France, I got this part from a US junkyard that sold it on ebay a few years ago, then I had it in my 00 Camaro, but repidly saw that it was not workin properly (basically the 3rd gear was not possible to engage).

Now I want to have this trans rebuilt, but I cannot ship it back to us then back to France for this purpose, too expensive. So I want to choose the right parts to rebuild it here home in France.

I have found 2 labels onto my trans body, anyone can help identificate what year it was buit (I mainly want to choose the best rebuit kit for this tranny, and to know if it has viper style second gear or not) ????

1386-000-017 model LS1/ Camaro.
Made from '98 thru 2002 model years and also sold in the aftermarket until maybe 2008. You would have to share the data on the 1in x3 in metal tag, located under an extension-to- case bolt , to know the build date.
BTW the hype about the "viper" 2nd gear is just that. The clutching teeth at 2nd was revised on all T56 models( including Viper) by the time this unit was built. Unless you are getting used or off-shore parts( and there are some out there) you don't need to worry about 2nd.

Why does my 2000 (built in 12/99) have a Tremec labelled/cast-in case ID, if the above BWs were used up to '02??

Borg Warner transmission div was sold to TREMEC in 98.
Putting the TREMEC on the castings took longer.
