Default Clutch advice

I'm putting a ls2/t56 in my 63 chevyII wagon. The trans is a 2007 cts-v t56 with the bellhousing from the cts-v as well. I've got a ls6 clutch new in the box including the flywheel. I've had several people tell me I cannot use that clutch in this trans then I've also had several say I can if i use a spacer. Is there any cons to using this clutch with a spacer over say a LUK ls7 oem setup with the dual mass flywheel? Also for those that say I can't use this ls6 clutch why not? Just trying to learn and save money to use elsewhere if the money isn't needed on a new clutch. Thanks

I see no reason why you can't use the LS6 clutch with what you have. The LS7 does not use a dual mass flywheel.
