Every now and then 2nd gear decides to grind itselt to hell and back. Each time it does it i have the cartek to the floor.

I have it set to about where it catches halfway up so it should be fully disengaging. However it only does it every now and then. It seems to happen on the first hard run of the night. After it grinds that first time it will not do it again! Do i have to burn in the cartek before i make a pass??? I swear my 2nd gear is almost smooth now! <img src="images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">

I don;t know what to do. It is not constant. It used to grind downshifting into 2nd but since i changed the clutch it has not done that.

hehehe, sorry Eddie, you know I had to! Hey, will you be going out to OSW Sunday? I'm all set and ready to go. We're fabbing up a driveshaft loop and finishing up the welding on the cage this Saturday.
