Hi all. The other day I am heading over to Summit Racing when another Firebird pulls up next to me. So we hit the gas and when I try to shift from 2nd gear the stick won't budge. I pull over to a stop and the stick is literally stuck in gear. The clutch feels like it should so I know think it was releasing. I shut down the motor and finally got the stick into neutral. Now everything seems fine, shifts like it always has. What do you think happened??

Could be alot of things but if you slipped the clutch excessively, I think it "welded" to the plate untill you broke it loose.
