im installing my mcleod single disc, 01 slave, and ram adj master tomorrow am is there any tips u guys have to help it along. i printed up the install guide on install university and i plan to bench bleed the master. i already unbolted the brake master, took out the rear o2's, removed exhaust bracket, took out driveshaft and torque arm, and unhooked all wiring. seems to me shes ready to come out.........will i still need to shim the slave with an adj master?

I would have a slide hammer along with a pilot bearing puller handy if you are going to change the pilot bearing.

yes i plan on doing that as well. i am starting in about an hr but will be checking back in here periodicly especially when its time to bleed this pos hydraulic system.

well my master never showed up so i wont be bleeding it 2day. the overall install was tuff but the only back breaker was lining up the trany when putting it back in. other than that fairly straight forward. but then again i didnt do the dreaded master yet. which sux be cause im moving in 2 days

One suggestion... tell them to never deliver the adjustable Mcleod MC and send it back. Then once you get the money, burn it. It's a lot simpler than dealing with the MC.
