Exclamation Help With 4th Gear

I have a problem with fourth gear, every once in a while if I shift into 4th and let go of the clutch fast the gear will pop out. If I put it in Gear and let go of the clutch slowly it will stay in gear. Or if I am in 6th gear and down shift to 4th going over 75MPH It will grind or if it does go in it will pop out when I hit the gas. Is it possible that this is happening because my clutch is totally gone, or is it that my transmission is going too.
thanks

A search effort would have yeilded a more timely answer. Your 3/4 fork is worn.

Probably do a synchro rebuild along with a steel 3/4 shift fork. When I tore my trans apart I also needed a gear. I also upgraded to billet slider keys. If you take it somewhere I don't think labor is anymore than $300 for a rebuild if you take them the trans.
