Default used 5.0............

I just got it in the mail and he didnt send the 4 bolts for the base. Can I just use the stock bolts from the stock base plate?

If i remember correctly, they may be too short? Just make sure that you have enough thread to get a good grip, but that they aren't so long that you bottom out the bolts.

the stock bolts work just fine.

The stock bolts are not long enough. Although they do fasten the shifter, the thread engagement is compromised.

stock bolts are not long enough.....they will put a few threads in but could easily be ripped out (causing some serious problems)......

measure how much thicker the 5.0 base is than the stocker and go to ACE (or comparable hardware store) to buy some bolts that are that thickness length added.....
