Default please help, how many shims should i use.

i just installed a spec stage three in my 00 ws6. i didn't replace any hydraulic parts because the car has low mileage on it. the pedal grabs way to close to the floor. i could barely get the thing in gear cuz i don't think it was dis engaging properly. i used a mighty vac to bleed system. i think my hyds are ok. i pulled it back out and put some more shims behing the slave and it lets me go into gear perfectly. it takes off good but starts to slip when you get on it a little bit. i think i have to many shims. i know that other people have had to do this before and i was wondering how many shims to use. i don't really want to move my pedal. please call me if you have any answers.. thanks 5733087766

remove the line that runs from the master cyl to the slave cyl and use a 1/8" drill bit and drill out orfice ive have to do this on all centerforce clutches ive installed. make sure that you get all the air out of the system after repair. you can use a vaccum pump the help with bleeding system. that should put pedal release about half way up. you could call 3046334991 between 8am and 6pm
