Default Replacing the Tailshaft Seal

I was wondering if anyone has an issue with the tailshaft leaking. I have a 2001 SS and it seems like it has been leaking for awhile. The Torque arm is covered in some sort of goop...(Trans Fluid???). If there are any tricks to changing the tailshaft seal please let me know. Also on a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult is it to replace and how much does it cost? THanks.

I have replaced a few Tailshaft seals and they are easy. You would be able to tell if its leaking if you see a drip near the bottom after the car has been run. It shouldnt take very long about an hour at the most. Take the DS out, pull the old seal out then grease the new one and hammer it in. They make a tool to put it in straight so you don't ruin it but if you are careful you shouldn't have a problem.
