Default Clutch is Fixed!!!!!!

Well, as some of you may know, I had a Spec3 for about 55,000+ miles. I started have shifting problems at abou 30,000+ miles of this clutch. I kept bleeding and bleeding with that working maybe 2-3 days. It would be very hard to get into gear (especially first). Then all at once, the clutch started slipping. I decided to go with the spec 2+, had my flywheel resurfaced again and did the installation. It shifted like new for the breakin period. Once I decided to get on the car a little harder, I could not get it to second at high rpms.

Well, I found out that I should have installed the shim with the install of the spec 3 which I did not. So, I ordered the metal shim because of the flywheel being cut on twice. I installed the shim on last night and took it down the road. The shifts are as smooth as silk and I now can go into gears at high rpms!

If you are having shifting problems, try getting the shim!
