Default Is a drill mod required for a texarillia clutch..

set up. I am ready to install everything after messing up on my drill mod and I'm getting information that the drill mod is not required on a clutch system like this. That is really doesn't help!!!!! Any opinions would help......

It was my impression that the drill mod is good for any clutch, even stock.

I quess I should have been more clear the first time. The drill mod is to avoid the clutch from retracting slower due to the restriction that the factory installed, making it easier to let the clutch out without the car jumping from a start. But for drag racing this could be a benifit due to not having such a hard impact on the drive train, driveline, etc. and breaking traction. Or does the restriction also have to do with the depression of the pressure plate allowing a quicker shift?? The new pressure plates have more lbs of pressure which will return the fluid quicker to the reservoir, I am understanding this correctly!!!!
