Default no tire barking in second

i was driving my neighbors 00 ls1 his clutch pedal is hard for about the first half then after that it just goes all the was down like with a spring was pushing it down on the was up after half ways it throws your foot off and barks second, and also third with ease. mine is a 99 ls1 m6 also with bolt ons. my car is .2 seconds faster than his at the trak but my pedal is just soft all the way down and up. mine does not bark second or third. second will bark if i accelerate some before i let it go. what could be causing this on mine. my pressure plate is centerforce with upgraded hydrolics his is all stock hyd. not sure what clutch he has could he have the drill mod and i dont or is it because he might have a performance pressure plate

I JUST DID THE DRILL MOD TO MY LINE AND IT STILL DOES NOT HAVE THAT FEEL I GUESS IT A PERFORMANCE PRESSURE PLATE THAT MY NEIGHBOR HAS

He probably got a different clutch than you do hence the different pedal pressure. Whats it matter? Yours is working fine.
