Black Plate With 2 bolts I think Question On my Transmission between the transmission itself and the oil pan theres a black plate. That closes the little area that show the inside of the transmission and it bolts to the oil pan. Its a black plate not very big. I have one on the driverside but i dont have one on the passenger side. The bolt holes are there though am i missing something or is that normal? I wouldnt think it was normal. Where could i get a black plate at?

It's not a big deal until one little rock gets inside the bellhousing. You better get it replaced, it's not much and your local dealer will be able to get it.
