Default Should I beef up the tranny before..

I read in a thread that the clutch put in the m6's is barely strong enough for the stock HP. My car's an 02, 40k miles and it has exhaust and intake. This month I'm getting some Pacesetters, and that's about as far as the mods will go, except for a cam and a tune next summer. My question is, is should I do something with the transmission to make it handle the extra HP? Preferably something under $700. Thanks

Your transmission will be fine. If the clutch is holding now, then it will be ok with the headers. My stock clutch has around 35-36k on it, and it held up to 438rwhp/504rwtq and ran 11.87@120.01 with a 125 dry shot of N2O.
