Default Clutch problems

just yesterday, I noticed my clutch is not pushing in as far as usual but is still functioning properly. Also, when I push the clutch in, it doesn't seem to have any resistance the first half of the way but the second half feels normal. I checked the clutch fluid and the level seems normal although it is almost black in color. Im going to flush it and replace the fluid anyway, but does that sound like the problem or am I going to need a new clutch.

Try posting in in the Manual Tranny section. You'll get more responses there.

I have the same problem as far as cooked clutch fluid goes. It seems like every 5k miles the fluid turns black. But you have to figure, it gets pretty hot running by the ehaust and everything.
