when to stop drilling

Default when to stop drilling

doing the drill mod but im not sure when to stop drilling?
install universty says around an 1"
i mesured the metal shavings on my drill bit and its 1" but it feels like i can go more

make sure you are square in the fitting, and drill down about 1 inch. Dont measure the shavings. the drill bit will go in and out freely when you drilled far enough. Just to be sure and to get a "feel" for it, test it on your old hydraulics

Just keep drilling until you feel no resistance when pushing the drill in the line. Make sure you are drilling straight into the line and not drilling into the line wall though.
