Boy I hate feeling like a Idiot So I walked into the local speed shop, walked around, the owner was on the phone with a guy. When he hung up he said 'May I help ya?' I said " what short shifters do you have for the t56 " he stocked B&M rippers, and said that everyone loved them, even over hurst stuff. So I now act stupid and say, Do you have any pro 5.0's? Huh? Pro 5.0's. Ive never heard of a t56 in a foxbody.
Feeling dumb that I had no clue who made it, I coverd my trail and looked at the ripper. The thing was huge, not what im looking for, and it was 1 piece. So I said, I'll look up that shifter and get back to ya, maybe you can order it for me. Sure thing he said
So who the hell makes the pro 5.0?
And will this mess with my reverse lock out ( cant go from 4th to reverse when moving ) that prolly has saved me?

If you want a 2 piece, look for the older b&m ripper. The only problem is they dont make aftermarket short sticks, but do what I did, and cut it down and reweld. Perfect height and short shifts.

Go to another shop.He sounds like an idiot.Pro-5.0 is indeed a brand name like Hurst is.They did begin by making only Furd shifters though.

Maybe the guy mis-understood you and thought you had a 'stang or something.
Give him the benefit of the doubt. He's right though...Fox's didn't come with a
T-56.
...and the boys are right...Pro5.0 makes the Pro5.0 shifter. See...
Of course this is a Cobra shifter for the T-56 though.

No local shop have ever heard of pro5.0 or was able to look them up in their databases. Ohwell, guess i'll order it off line. PS Unit 213, what 'Stick' is that?

The one on the left is a stock POS Cobra shifter.

That's the handle they use for the Mustangs (T5 & T56). I thought it was cool also, but they told me it will only work on 'stang applications. Besides, they said the solid round handle on the f body T56 apps is stronger.

Get a pro5.0 with a lou short stick, awesome shifter, very very short throws. Afterthoughts had a good deal on it, they are a sponsor here check them out.

I cnat belive that I didnt knotice that DemonSpeed, I thought that was on this tranny hump and he had cloth seats!! Thats just wrong
Brad8266- Yea that what Im gonna do, the first mod ( besides !dirty lol ) ive done to my car myself, should be easy, any tips? I have looked at my console and cant figure it out.
