Need help with clutch everyone! Hey everyone. Second gear went out, and about a month later, the clutch went out (prev owner beat on it pretty bad) in my 95 Z28 Convertable. Time to tear it all down, and put it back together, stronger. I have a question:
Clutch is wasted, time for a new one. My car has all the boltons, intake, gears, exhaust, and I actually plan on throwing a S/C or somthing like that on it in the near future, or perhaps a cam and some internal work, and what not. So what clutch assembly should I purchace?? I wont be making 500 HP with my budget, and I am looking for a set up that will grab nice, last a while, not chatter too much, that I can afford, and that I'll be happy with.
I have allmost 2500 dollars (for tranny work, and clutch) to throw at my car, so ANY Input is fantastic. Thanks a lot for your time evryone.
