Shweet, power tower is in DA house!!! I had my console already ripped out, and I just went out and it was too damn cold to do the full install, but I did manage to get the stock shifter out using just a 1/4 inch socket set LOL, talk about force... I got em in the house now, I took comparison pics of the 5.0-LSS and Stock-Stock, now Im gonna work on that peski boot.

I ended up losing the bottom bolt at a stop light once on my way to work. Luckily, I have visegrips for fingers, so I was able to get it all back in there tight enough to get to work.
I re-used the factory rubber silencer they say to trash in the instructions, so its a bit of a bitch to get to the bottom bolt without removing the console again.
Either way, you probably didn't re-use the the rubber piece. So you should be able to pop off your leather shifter cover, pull out the bolts and loc-tite them.
Take my advice, go back and loc-tite those two bolts, and call it good.
