Default 20,000 miles and already shifting problems?

Just bought a 2000 camaro ss and when i run through them hard its like it doesnt want to go out of the one gear and into the next without forcing it. It also makes a weird noise once in a while after getting on it hard with the clutch in slowing down. Also the car starts to move almost as soon as you start to let the clutch out like an inch. Any solutions or thoughts?

Car moving that quickly sounds like a hydraulic problem. The slave cylinder isn't extending far enough to disengage the clutch all the way. Check the clutch fluid level/condition. If it's low fill it, and pump the clutch a lot (20+ times). Wait a few days and recheck the fluid level to see if it's changed. If it has you have a leak somewhere. Could just be air in system and it needs to be bled.

In the mean time don't beat on it or force it into gear and do your best to rev match your shifts unless you want to replace synchros.
