Default Mcleod Twin Disc Problem

I finally got my mcleod installed. I like it except when you push the pedal in to shift gears and release it, it doesnt shoot back like it is suppose to. It doesnt get stuck it just doesnt spring back as fast as my other clutches have. Is this normal or is something wrong. It has new slave, new mcleod master, new pilot bearing, new throwout bearing, and drill mod and it has been blead every way you can think of. The pedal also has about a half inch of play before the clutch actually gets stiff. Is this normal or not. Thanks for the help.

The clutch with the half inch of play is normal. Mine has always done that. But the pedal not spring right back is not normal. Sounds like there is air in the lines. Did you use a mityvac?

There is a bleeding system you can use called a mityvac system. I bought mine form sears it was about $60.00 and it takes a ton of air out the lines. Do a search on it and you will find detailed instruction on how to do it. Good luck man. Also if a shop did it I would take it back to them for that problem. I;m so tired of all these half *** shops out there. Are those wheels actually on your car in you picture? If so can you shoot me some pics of it. Those look so bad ***. here is my e-mail z383stroker@yahoo.com.

Another thing is to adjust the master cylinder push rod & take some of that freeplay out.
