T56 Vent hose?

T56 Vent hose? I picked up a T56 for a swap into my '82.The trans is in need of the vent line (like circled in the pic) as the one on it got shredded in half during shipping somehow.Can I just run some regular rubber line up to the engine bay and that is good enough or????

That should work fine. I would scour the autoparts stores for a breathable filter of some type to cap off the end of the hose. You don't just want an open hose going straight into the T56.
