my trans. is leaking fluid out of the top where the shifter is, could this be a big problem of just a gasket needs to be replaced, and posibly why this happened any one have the same problem? and how hard would it be for me to do it myslef (the gasket), im pretty sure you can get to it by removing the center console.

Yeah mine is doing the same, all you have to do is remove the center console, and the dust boot and all that junk then its 4 bolts and just replace the gasket.
