Default What are the signs of a bad trans mount for a m6

02 TA m6 with 42k here
I did a search but really didnt find anything ....
I was just wondering what are the signs or a tired/F-up tranny mount
on a m6
On my car, I get some movement in the gear box when going for 1st gear while on a 20mpgh roll , also when going to 2nd
the car shift perfect, clutch is fine, its just that I feel it moving a bit

I assumed that was the mount so I got the regular one ( no the propy things something thats solid and give vibration) from texas speed

do you think I did the right thing and that can be the nature of the problem

thanks

Hey there. I guess I don't know how much is "some movement" but is that means it is banging around, yeah, that is bad! =) If it is more than you are used to, chances are it is the tranny mount. You can check for cracks/ wear on the old one. Not to hard to replace. Good luck!
