Question Clutch Pedal Slop....Need help!

My clutch pedal has about 1.5 inches of slop in it before the clutch disengages. It also has the notorious pedal sticking to the floor every now and then too (52K on the clutch). Is the clutch assembly adjustable at all? I don't think it is being it's a hydralic system. I've bled it once before, but it didn't make any difference.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The factory GM clutch has a self adjusting mechanism on the pressure plate. Also the master cylinder is SUPPOSED to be capable of bleeding out small amounts of air on its own through normal use. 52k on a factory clutch that's been driven "spirited" occassionally would be about due to be swapped out.

Assuming you're bleeding it right and the fluid isn't contaminated, the next likely culprit would be the pressure plate and clutch disc.
