Well, grow a Mullett, and put IrocZ badges on your car. Oh today is Valentine's Day, so you could get a good deal on like 6 gold chains to wear also.
Long Story short...

Flame away, but I actually like mine. I chopped my Ripper down 2", and this thing fits it perfect now. I like having something decent to hold on to when I'm rowing gears...if I want the looks, I'll put my MBA "SS" **** back on and be done with it. For daily driving and spirited driving, the Hurst stays there, and I like it.

When shifting properly, it would get in the way, and cause missed shifts. I could only see it as an advantage if you were using and automatic with a maual valve body.

yeah i mean i was looking at it because it seems that i would have a great grip in the stick and would be able to slam it right into the gates....but then again....maybe it would get in the way and probably would work better on like a longer shift stick.,..like those in custom hot rods....MEENT...post some pics if ya have some..and nice car still man!

I just bought a new one at swap meet last fall after my car was put away,so i'll see how it is come spring. I only paid $25.00 for it. It also goes with with my whole HURST thing.

It'll probably be a few days until I can get around to it, but I'll work on getting some pics up. It did take some getting used to, but I've had no issues shifting with it, granted I don't powershift my car. When I do shift, though, I yank the **** out of it.

I can see the 1-2 shift being bad ***, but when it comes to faster 2-3, 4-3, 3-2, 6-2 (I like to down shift and heel toe, and all that other fancy stuff on my every day commute) I wouldnt be able to change hand positions on the shifter.

Yeah...if you like to change hand positions, this probably isn't for you...I basically drive like a grandma anyways

I had a T-Handle. Not a big issue for you, but the metal gets downright cold in the winter and hot if exposed to the sun in the summer.
