Clutch HP Rating-Flywheel or Tires
I am in need of a new clutch right now and am looking at the Ram Powergrip clutch and the billet flywheel. I was just curious are the horse power ratings for clutches rated for the flywheel or the ground? The car has Hooker super comps, SLP UltraZ true ram air hood, SLP lid, ture duals with x-pipe, bullets and turn downs, and I want to do a cam soon. Thanks.

Clutch ratings are taken at the flywheel, not at the rear wheels.
Also when selecting a clutch, I am pretty sure that you have to look at the torque ratings of the clutch and not the horsepower ratings. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
