Default Another ls7 clutch post (flywheel?)

Ok, I am wondering if I can use a spec billet steel flywheel in conjuction with the ls7 clutch. The spec billet flywheel is 0 balanced so that part shouldnt be a problem. Does anyone know if it will work?

Also, what is the difference between the part number 15046288 Ls7 slave, and the upgraded gm ls1 slave?

I have also heard this thing needs to be shimmed? or will the engagement point move up some after it is broken in? I really was hoping this clutch could be plug and play w/out having to worry about a bunch of crap.
