clutch is new but seems to slip? do you have to break it in ?

Default clutch is new but seems to slip? do you have to break it in ?

95 ta replaced clutch about a month ago . 1500, miles. on ot know if that .when i get on it the clutch seems to slip and i can smell clutch real bad. does the clutch have to break in ? had the flywheel cleaned up. the machine shop only took of a couple of thousands. they told me that i would not have to shim it.seems to shift fine. any answers please..

yeah most people do 500 city miles of part throttle driving to beak in there clutch.

Sounds like you have a real problem there, you need to investigate it.
It should not slip & smell at all. A break in is not going to help that at all.
