Default Life of a stock t-56?

Just wondering what breaks and at how much power in a t-56. I have 36,000 and i just ran my first 10.9 with a bunch of 11s. it still feels the same as new. Am i fooling myself or do these really hold up?

You have an 01, so I'm not sure if GM upgraded the 3-4 shift fork to steel from aluminum. Very common for the aluminum shift fork to bend and damage the 3-4 synchronizer keys causing the "stuck in fourth" & "pops out of third" issues, which in turn can damage 3rd and 4th gears due to "miss shifts". Otherwise, these transmissions seem to be semi-bullet proof, but you are pushing quite a bit of HP to hit 10's, so I dunno.

hahaha i have a stock 02 Z well not so much any more but when i first got it opened up on the highway....shift into 5th and 6th suddenly no longer exists and 5th pushes itself out unless i hold it in and by push i mean it literally pushes out not pop out. car had 25k on it then too but who knows what the previous owner had done to cause that to happen???
