Default 69LT1..... did ya get it in??

Got the tranny problem and just gave up. Shoulda found that last thread before droppin her back on the deck. Was about 1/4 inch from going in and got all bolts in easily. Just couldn't find the ***** to tighten her up like you. The last time it went in like a breeze.

Yeah, I don't know how much detail I went into, but I am using a carbureted LS2 in my 67 Camaro. My engine builder often uses 4 speeds with these engines so they installed the pilot bearing they would use with a T-10 or something similar. The LSx type pilot bearing fit into a recess in the crankshaft behind (toward the front of the engine) the pilot bearing that the engine builder had installed. Once I pulled that one out, I could see where the T-56 pilot bearing fit. It gained me the 7/16" that I needed.

Thanks,

Jeff
