launching a 6 speed on slicks?
well I managed to drive the car all day (like 10 hours to get to the magic 500 mile mark) the clutch seems alot better now, still has a little chatter but its bearable...
took it to the track too but didnt fair so well on the ET streets
I have never driven a manual car with slicks before so I got no clue how to launch it, only could get a 1.73 60' the car bogs no matter what I do
ill bring the revs to 5k and dump the clutch it will pop the wheels up, then bog
tried going to 4k and slipping the clutch out, and it will slip slip slip BITE! bog! fall on its face... is it just lack of horsepower or what? I could only manage a 12.25 @ 112.65 when ive gotten 11.90 @ 119 on nittos in good air.

you'd probably get more replies in the drag racing section, but ill throw my input in.
if your launching at 5k and bogging, try 5200, then 5500, so on and so forth.
what PSI are your tires? try 14psi hot and go from there.
i know exactly how you feel. ever since putting my QA1s and new gears with 28" tires ive been trying to find the sweet spot on launching. hopefully this 2-step i got will make things more consistant.
