Default spacer with spec 5

I just got my new spec 5 in and realized it doesn't have a spacer for the slave. Does anyone know if they don't use it anymore or if spec forgot to put it in the box ?

Not all setup's need the spacer.
I haven't had a stage 5 yet but on the 3's 3+'s and 4's the spacer can acturally cause the clutch to slip.
Did you get a new flywheel at the same time?
The setup height is what changes with the spacer some clutch setup dont require it.

It's missing... better give spec a call, all 5's have the spacer.

Thats what I thought. The 3 had one but the 5 doesn't. I figured it was missing. I guess the only way to find out for sure is to install and check the release. Its not too bad to pull back out at this point.

The last 2 stg5,s I installed had spacers. I would get back in touch who ever you bought it from. Along with SPEC.

You guys talking about the shim?

My friend installed the supplied one with his stg 5 and it caused it to slip. He had a Ram BS Flywheel and called spec to double check whether he should use it (shim) or not. They said he had to use it and also that if he didn't they would not warrenty it.

After it began to slip he removed it and, walla, it didn't slip anymore.

Same thing happened to me on my 3+. It was quite agrivating, and cost money as I was beeing told one thing but the car needed another. I would get it set up, check clearances and if you need it give them a call. I would check the clearances on every one of the SPEC's.
