Default issue with m6

new clutch, flywheel, slave, adjustable master. Bench bled it, Mitivac bled.
Adjusted master. Still will not go into gear well. Car wants to move forward slightly when trying to engauge, so you would think to adjust the master to engauge more. Wont work. If you pump it, it engauges a little better, but not like it should. Any suggestions.

How would that have anything to do with putting the transmission into gear?

Maybe the slave needs a shim?

The slave has a shim/plate. Wouldnt you think that since it does just a little better when you pump the clutch, it may still be a bleeding issue? I cant get any air out using the vac pump.
