Default WHat does it take to use a Viper t56

I found a good deal on a t56 from a viper, what would it take to use it in a 98 camaro?

I know the viperspec trannys are much stronger

They are only stronger because of the larger output shaft. The input shafts are different and the shifter location is different too. If this is for an RX7 then you would better off going with an F-body T56 as the shifter location is more suited for the RX7 chassis.

The from plate needs to be changed along with the input shaft. Also to fit in a camaro the tail housing would need to be changed as well as bored out to fit the larger viper output shaft. It is really not a big deal to convert. But one thing to remember some of the newer srt-10 truck and srt viper t56 have a one piece cluster which adds some difficulty to the conversion.
