Default 02 Slave Cylinder Spec's

Anyone know the bore size and stroke of an 02 Slave Cylinder? I'm installing an '02 LS1/T56 combo in my '57 and want to mount the slave cylinder on the inside of the car like the pic on the left. I know what the spec's on the Wilwood MC is, don't know what the stock unit is...

Thanks,
Charlie

This same question was asked on the conversion forum a while back and I answered it, but due to the search being down could not find my answer. So I looked it up again for you.

Stroke of the GM Master is 25mm max (1")
Diameter is 19.05mm (0.75")

There was a guy in the conversion forum that used anther master that he found with these same characteristics. Hopefully you can find the info when the search function is working again.

Thanks Hugger... Here's the specs Wilwood has listed for their unit I posted the pics (unit on left) above.

All have a stroke of 1.4, so it looks like I should be good to go...

Aluminum Master Cylinder - .750" bore 260-1304
Aluminum Master Cylinder - .700" bore 260-6579
Aluminum Master Cylinder - .625" bore 260-2636

Agree?

Thanks!
Charlie

Yeah, I am pretty sure the guy in the conversion forum went with the 0.75" wilwood master for his project too. Let us know how it works. But you will want to be careful that you don't overtravel the slave as I am not sure if you can blow it out with too much stroke. The stock GM master has only 1" of stroke so an extra 0.4" may cause problems. Can anyone else confirm this?

Maybe that would be another option for the guys with problematic master cylinders. I know the few aftermarket ones many ahve tried thus far have almost always leaked (RAM, McLeod). I hope this one works for you.
